shouldnt they of joined a conference with an automatic bcs bowl bid (pac-10, big 10, big 12, sec, acc)? they need a stronger strength of schedule, if you want to be considered the best you have to play the best. not saying the mwc is a crap conference but come on its not a power confernece. yes, florida played some inferior teams but they also played #4 lsu, #2 alabama in the regular season but on the other hand boise st only played #16 oregon in regular season and a overrated tcu in a bowl game. to be fair i think ciny was overrated also. @Your Uncle Dodge! IMHO, texas, oklahoma, okla st, texas tech would go undefeated every year if one of them played in the mwc. @kcbf sucky teams want to become respectable, good teams want to be good year after year, making them national powerhouses but noone is going to take boise st seriously even if they go undeafeated year after year playing a powder puff schedule. if they wanted a tougher schedule they should of joined a tougher conference. boise st beat oklahoma with trick plays, but none the less a win is a win. byu won because sam bradford went out with a injury. i think boise st is a really good team, very underrated. but as a college football fan i want to see them play the best to know how good they really are. to be the best you have to play the best....
